Health Care Consultants 

Health Care Consultants are registered nurses who partner with child care centers, group and family child care homes, and school-age programs to foster safe and healthy environments for children. The Consultant acts as a resource to:

  • Develop a health care plan for the child care program.
  • Provide training and education about health related issues.
  • Create policies and procedures to help keep children and adults safe and healthy.
  • Answer questions about common child care health related issues.  


The St. Lawrence Child Care Council's Health Care Consultant is also a certified Medication Administration (MAT) Instructor.
